Visions, Values, and Purpose

1. What is the future you seek to create?
I seek to create a future of positive feeling about the Organization and install a sense of pride to members who are a part of the Organization. This is accomplished by advocacy, issue organizing and visibility.

2. What inspires you to give service to your association?
Changing the culture of the Association as a whole inspires me. Diminishing the negativity that exists among some members. This again is accomplished by advocacy, issue organizing and being a visible support staff UniServ Director

3. What makes you proud about your service to public education?
Support Staff employees are often the forgotten piece in education. Unfortunately, some Support Staff employees have bought into this "forgotten / unappreciated mentality" I remind them and any other individual that without Support Staff the kids do not get to school, the gates do not get opened, the phones do not get answered, the checks do not get cut" Support Staff employees are a vital piece to public education

Daily Grill Review

Last night, 5 fellow UniServ Directors and I had dinner at the Daily Grill last night. The restuarant was a short 10 minute walk from the Westin Hotel. Everybody seemed genuinly happy and satisfied with thier meal. I had a salad, Skirt Steak, french fires and a Whiskey Sour. I would definitely recommend the Daily Grill to anybody visiting Washington DC
